Regarding species for new players.

This post is directed to new players who want to play a Xeno species. When you first join the server, new players are expected to make a human marine character. This is due to the fact that ICly this is an Alliance crew and shouldn't have a non-Human majority. OOCly, we get a big influx of people who join and instantly want to be Turians, Krogan, etc. They make these Xeno characters and then have no real idea how to even RP as these species and it ruins the experience for other players. So, to curb this, we ask that new players that wish to make an alien first play as a human and shows the staff that they are good at RP and have a general understanding of the setting. After some time, if we feel you're dedicated and aren't going to make an alien just to be stupid, we will grant you the ability to make your alien character and you can do whatever you want with your human marine. Note, if you are given your alien character and then start being stupid or harassing other players by trying to ERP with the whole crew due to some fetish, we will PK your character and demand you re-earn the privilege.
