Man out of Time

A old time song from a bygone generation blares as a car comes into view. A futuristic vehicle is seen cruising down the highway towards a distant airport. The driver looks up from a device on his wrist as he moves into the exit lane. He appears to be a fairly young male wearing a pair of comfortable running shoes, a pair of jeans, and a regular t-shirt. He he has blue eyes and dark brown hair. He stops at a traffic light and waits for his turn to continue on towards the airport. He takes a small note on his console and looks it over. The title on the note reads "THE MANSWELL EXPEDITION" He quietly gazes down at the notes on the page. Reading pointers stating "Live a new life! Explore the deepest reaches of space! Become the vanguard of humanity!"

Though the man wished to read more. He heard a horn blaring behind him and quickly pressed his foot down on the gas pedal to continue to the airport. Once the man got to the airport. He'd park inside the parking lot and hold up the device on his wrist. He calls a number on the device and holds it up to his ear. He waits but hears no pick up. The man speaks with a cheery but exhausted voice "Hey sis, I know you told me not to call you or mom up but uh, My cars at the airport. Feel free to take it. Key's in the trim in the bed of the truck. Goodbye." The man flicks the call off and grabs his belongings. He slides a workbag with the words 'CNC' on the side over his shoulder and a suitcase to his side. The man leaves the truck and heads for the airport terminal in the distance. Leaving the truck behind in the parking lot.

Spaceship Ambience:

"All systems are normal, Skeleton crew's heading back to the pods, Doctors are checking the health of the passengers right now." A man in a worker's uniform strolls down the line with another worker who appears to have his uniform's sleeves tied around his waist. He looks up towards the man in the pod saying "Shame about this one, Doctor Madonna said he's got a dormant tumor in his head. Apparently it developed after the screening process. Kid's got cancer." The other worker looks over saying "So what do they plan on doing with him?" "Don't know, Guess he's going to stay in the freezer until he can't no more. At least to buy him some time. We've got other CNC machinists anyways. They'll just have to pull extra work." The worker nods and the both of them continue down the ship's cramped corridor by floating.

Spaceship Intercom:

A inter-species group of what appears to be mercenaries and doctors move through the old and abandoned vessel while a old song from generations ago bounces off the walls of the abandoned spaceship. The ship, now succumbing to the jungle of the colony and it's various missing parts used to form the first colony, remains powered only by the help of a abandoned nuclear reactor. The Asari doctor of the group pauses and waves a turian mercenary over saying "This one here, Goddess, The others forgot him." The turian raises a brow and looks to his left saying "You sure about waking him up doctor? He might be feral by now. Or he could die in seconds. Probably isn't vaccinated." The Doctor nods saying  "We have the equipment and immunizations ready. Let's revive him and take him to Alliance space." The Turian nods and presses a button on the cryo pod. The pod slowly begins to defrost...
