Overview

The Kingdom of Maldrassia has largely kept to itself on the Atakoman Peninsula, on the western coast of Keldunoth, for a majority of recorded history. It is a proud and prosperous Elven nation, relying on their mastery of magic and politics to keep themselves firmly in power. At the central pillar of their society is the Council of Archmagi, comprised of the most powerful magic-users of all Elvenkind. Above the Council is the Grand Magister, the head of the council and the leader of the kingdom. The current Grand Magister is Juran Abimas.

History

The group of ancient Siconian ancestors of the Maldrassian Elves settled in what is now the capital city of Maldrass Kur long ago. The Palace of Arcanum at the center of the city is an original Siconian structure, kept in working order by the Council of the Archmagi. Slowly, the Siconian settlers began to slowly shift into what modern day Maldrassian Elves are; golden-yellow skin and eyes became lighter skin and blue & green eyes. The capital city was built up using the white marble mined from the nearby mountains, becoming the central metropolis of Maldrassia that it is today.
