Overview

Banshees, though traditionally used as a female term, is a blanket word used to refer to the ghosts of those mortals who were claimed by Ashadala upon their death. Their souls are doomed to roam Primis for eternity, luring additional mortals into the clutches of Ashadala, to sit in eternal torment in her domain for her pleasure.

Appearance

Most Banshees appear as an off-white or pale blueish-purple color, with an otherworldly glow about them. The face of the original mortal remains, albeit free of imperfections, yet with completely whited out eyes.

When a Banshee is disguised, the only indicators may be their cold and unnaturally smooth flesh, and an altogether "too perfect" appearance. Once their disguise is shattered, the agonized spectre beneath is revealed, unleashing a terrible screech, for which they gain their namesake.
