You are a citizen on the colony of Joab, on the far side of the Terminus Systems, far from the Systems Alliance and Council space. The war has been raging on for 2 months. Stories, news articles and broadcasts had made their way to the colony, spreading fear and doubt among its people. The local Alliance garrison had been keeping a small semblance of law and order in the capitol city, New Jericho, as looter bands started to form and communities began to close and consolidate to protect themselves. One week ago, the Reapers made their way to Joab, a Sovereign Class Reaper followed by multiple destroyers annihilated the small task force of ships defending the planet and decimated the groundside garrison.

Now, it is silent. A week has passed since the Reapers descended on Joab. In the rural areas of the planet the Reapers are starting to seep in as they complete their harvest of New Jericho. Husks wander in hordes seeking new flesh to convert, followed by more sinister abominations. There is no organization to keep an individual safe, civilians as well as stragglers from the garrison alike look after themselves. Government buildings and prisons have been emptied as chaos reigns. There is no indication of incoming help from the Systems Alliance or anyone else. Your survival is up to you.
